U12s Tour of Devon
Once again the Chris Poil's U12s squad embarked on a tour of
Devon during the weekend of May 5th & 6th.
They were based in Witheridge and managed to squeeze in four games over the weekend.
Thanks to Helen Curtis & Jolian Howell & Leslie Cathrew for the Tour Report.
A good crowd saw an entertaining match against a team from our Sponsors, TWM Solicitors, on Wednesday evening. A strong TWM bowling attack saw Blackheath pegged back to just 92 from their 16 overs and looking in danger of defeat, but fortunately order was restored when TWM came to bat and despite a late flourish they finished on just 80. Many thanks to TWM for the game and for their generous contribution to the hospitality!

Danny and Ronny Harrison (who both now coach for Surrey as well as for the club) are offering individual and 1:2 sessions at the club. This year they are providing this under the umbrella of Matchfit Academy (www.matchfitacademy.com), a new venture associated with the club. It is slightly more expensive than last year at £20 per hour (whether 1:1 or 1:2), but still far cheaper than available elsewhere, especially for coaching from a Surrey district coach. To book sessions, please contact them at email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org.

EACF Fundraiser – Saturday 29th April

New Sponsors and New Shirts!
The new season sees the start of a new partnership between the
TWM Solicitors in Guildford, who will be the club’s main
sponsors for at least the next three years.
To celebrate the launch of the partnership, there will be a Club v TWM Solicitors match on Wednesday 24th May.
New match shirts with the TWM logo have arrived and those who have not yet collected their pre-ordered shirts should be able to pick them up at the pavilion on Friday evening and Saturday morning. If you have not yet ordered a shirt, there are a limited number available to buy at the club. After these have been sold it will be necessary to order through the club’s new online shop.
