Since the new pavilion is under construction the AGM and end of season dinner were combined together on the same evening. The doors were opened for the AGM at 6:30pm and once the formalities were complete, the members turned their attention to the dinner. Firstly, many thanks for Sharon Thompson, Alexandra Jones and Marian Cozens for their organisation and for the preparation of the evening fare which was a choice chicken curry or chilli. After the diner Nick Harrison, gave the members an update on the progress of the pavilion and throughout the evening there was a slide show starting from the initial Harrison Townsend sketch, architectural drawings and artistic impressions by Sarah Sullivan, computer models by Simon Jones, as well as photos and movies from demolition on Day 1, to the current day. The evening was topped off with the awards hosted by the outgoing Chairman, Graham Webb, and presented by the President, Peter Herbert. Click on any of the photos to enlarge:
