Friday evenings for Under 9’s and below

For boys and girls aged 6 to 9 we will be running a session at 6pm on Friday evenings this year, not Thursdays and Sundays as previously. The first of these will be on Friday 7^th May. The idea is to make it a more social occasion for parents as well as children, and we hope to open the bar and run the occasional BBQ at the same time.

Registration Day – Sunday 2^nd May 10am

For anybody who was 9 or older on 1^st September 2003 we’re starting at Blackheath on Sunday 2^nd May at 10am. Please come along, BRING YOUR FRIENDS, get your names on this season’s list…and start practising! 

Under 11’s Squad

·            If you played for the Under 10’s last year then you are in this season’s Under 11 squad. We have a full fixture list including 8 League matches, which you will find by clicking here.

·            We need some more players so please BRING YOUR FRIENDS.

·            I will be managing this squad and you can contact me by phone or email as shown above. 

Under 13’s Squad

·            Once again the Under 13 squad will be managed this year by Andrew Cox and you can contact him on 01483 506126 or email [email protected]

·            Because most of our Under 13’s last year were actually Under 12’s we have decided to enter an Under 13 team in the league again this year instead of moving up to Under 14 (and thus play against opponents your own age and size for a change!)  We have a full league fixture list which you will find by clicking here.

·            If you are one of the few who are now Under 14 (13 or over on 1^st September 2003) then don’t worry. As you can see on the fixture list we have arranged some Under 14 games to include you and we will be arranging some more of these as soon as we know how many players we have this season. There will still be plenty of opportunities for you to play cricket at Blackheath on Sunday mornings. Keep coming along!

Annual Membership Subscriptions

Annual subscriptions are due on 2^nd May. We didn’t increase the rates last year so this year they have gone up slightly to £17 per child (£10 for Under 8’s). Please let me have a cheque payable to “Blackheath Cricket Club”.
