| A Fond Fairwell to Gorden Dudley and Clive Ennis, who will be hanging up thier League cricket boots at the end of the cricket season. Thank you for your commitment thoughtout the last few years, especially 1998 when BCC needed all the help we could get. It has been a great pleasure playing cricket with you both, you will be sorely missed in the league side. Hopefully we will still see you around the cricket club contributing as much off the field as you did on. Cheers Lads - Tim | |

His flowing action comes straight from the MCC coaching manual. I can't remember him bowling a bad ball in years and that's because, as he will confirm, he hasn't. On the rare occasion he is struck for four, he calmly walks back to his mark and concentrates on the next ball, never once telling the batsman what a lucky **** he is. So to Clive Ennis, devastating strike bowler, uncomplicated middle order batsman, consumate professional and gentleman we say goodbye - it's been a pleasure! | |
