| The 1st XI have had a good-ish start to the 2001 season. Following an early loss to potential champions Woking and Horsell we won three in a row against Alleyne Old Boys, Cobham, and Chipstead & Cousldon. Last week (9th June) saw a good winning draw away at Limpsfield. Having limited the opposition to 180 from their 55 overs we were thwarted by the weather, which cost us around 10 overs and left us on 155 for 5 at the close, with James Robson making a stylish 50.
