For anyone who doesn't know, having won the Surrey and Berkshire Group for the umpteenth time 2 weeks ago, we now have a "last 32" clash against the Hampshire champions, Easton and Martyr Worthy. This should have been played last Sunday (8th July) at Blackheath but was rained off and now has to be played away (our opponents are just outside Winchester) next Sunday (15th July). Unfortunately we will be without several key players including Nash, McDermott and Webb, but that still leaves a very strong Blackheath side that has a good chance of "doing the business". If we win on Sunday then the following Sunday (22nd) will involve a quick jaunt to Swardeston in Norfolk for the "last 16" clash. They beat our old friends from Dinton in Bucks (remember 1997?). If we were to win there then another visit to Milstead in Kent (where we eventually lost in the 1997 quarter final) looks likely.
